The 11th North East Ohio Dachshund Picnic was held today, Saturday July 12th, 2008 at Plum Creek Park in Kent, Ohio There were 1000 humans and 600 dogs registered. 

The day started sunny and warm with a nice breeze. At the end of the contests a thunder storm blew up and cooled things down. Because of the storm we did not take a group picture due to the threat of lightning.
